This scheme is specially designed to provide financial support to students living in rented accommodation while pursuing higher education.

Under this scheme, eligible students from SC, ST, OBC, MBC, and EWS categories will receive ₹2,000 per month for up to 10 months, i.e., a maximum benefit of ₹20,000 per year. The online application process began on 17 November 2025, and the last date to apply is 31 December 2025

Eligibility Criteria (Detailed)

To apply for Ambedkar DBT Voucher Yojana 2025–26, candidates must fulfill the following conditions:

Applicant must be a resident of Rajasthan

Belong to SC / ST / OBC / MBC / EWS category

Annual family income limit:

SC / ST / MBC: up to ₹2.50 lakh

OBC: up to ₹1.50 lakh

EWS: up to ₹1.00 lakh

Must be regularly studying in a government college (UG/PG course)

Student should not be a resident of the same city where the college is located

Parents/guardians should not own a house in the college city

Students living in government hostels are not eligible

Benefit can be availed for maximum 5 years
